Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said peace negotiations must “produce a firm and sustainable result that suits the Russian Federation.”
The latest sanctions include arms producers and suppliers in Central Asia, Turkey, Thailand, India and China, as well as Kyrgyzstan-based OJSC Keremet Bank.
While the meeting will take place at a lower level than last week’s, it is still seen as “a sign of progress,” a diplomatic source told AFP.
The video, whose creators remain unknown, contrasts sharply with previous state-backed propaganda efforts.
“It was at God’s will that this fate fell upon our shoulders to carry out such a challenging but honorable mission of defending Russia,” he said.
Despite police pressure, Lyudmila Vasilyeva continued her protest for an hour without being detained.
