Amanda (Lucy Punch) flits between Hounslow and Harlesden with apparent ease in her Tesla in Amandaland, but Londoners who know the two areas say writers have got the settings all wrong.
The BBC show, which launched last week, follows posh and often overbearing mother Amanda (Lucy Punch) as she's forced to downsize from leafy Chiswick to 'dodgy' South Harlesden.
The 47-year-old actress - who moved to LA nearly 20 years ago - has now confessed the ordeal has left her torn as to whether to stay put in California or return to her native London.
The BBC series follows the returning infuriating mother Amanda, once again played by Lucy Punch, as she navigates divorce and raising her two teenagers in a much-downsized flat.
But despite a fruitful career, it's only recently that Lucy, 47, has had the chance to show off her talents in a leading role in Amandaland, which airs on 5 February on BBC.
